Paper recycling at the Downtown Depot

Thanks to funding from the Community Development Fund and the City of Dawson, CKS has been able to build a small addition onto the downtown depot.  With the extra space created, we are now able to offer paper recycling to individual households!  Please bring us your white, mixed, and news paper for recycling.

Commercial paper pickup service

Is your business or organization interested in having your paper collected to be recycled?  You can!!  We're now offering a commercial paper collection service to help divert paper products from the Quigley Landfill.

Participants pay $10 per pick-up, which can happen on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, depending on the need.  You are responsible for sorting your paper (white office paper, mixed paper, newsprint) and storing it in an accessible location.

The collection is done with an electric truck to minimise our carbon footprint.
